What Our Clients Say
This car scheme is brilliant and have recommended it to many people . I would hate to have to do without it especially as time marches on so I am not getting any younger.
As a non-driver with Osteoporosis I find this service invaluable for hospital appointments, also affordable as pensioner, I could not afford taxis and cannot walk as far a bus stop. My husband is also in scheme and finds driver very helpful due to his mobility. Thank you for this excellent service. M Parmenter My daughter who has MS also joined you scheme (Wheelchair bound) who could not otherwise get to her MS Club which is vital for her communication with other. Thank you once again
My husband passed away two & a Half years ago, and before he died we used the Social Car scheme for many hospital clinic & social visits (also the stroke club at the Tyrells.) As the club disbanded I still use the car scheme to visit friends for I don’t want to become Isolated. It is a very good Scheme with very helpful staff & drivers
As I have no relatives local this takes a lot of worry from me, knowing I will be able to keep medical appointments on time. It is a very welcome service indeed
For me it is the personal touch When visiting my late husband in a care home in a remote area. Somedays on visiting hubby I would feel worried, but having a quick chat with the driver before we set off home made me feel better. You would not get that response from a taxi driver, they dont have the time & time means money.
I joined the car scheme when my husband became ill, we could not have done without it, for his treatment to clinics & hospitals that is why I carried on using it for my own trips to clinics & hospitals, I really could not manage without it at my age I really need it.
My husband and I joined the CPC soon after it started in 2008 and have found it to be a really excellent & reliable community service. When Jack became ill with Vascular Dementia and we had to give up the car it was a positive life line for us especially as we had a caravan in Suffolk. Jack is now living in Oakdale Residential Care Home and I try to see him every day so I have to rely on the CPCS and the local taxi service for transport.
I go on the coach to my clubs but without this service I wouldn’t be able to go, Im very grateful, all the drivers are very kind and helpful also Ricky is a blessing thank you
