What Our Clients Say
My husband and I joined the CPSCS soon after it started in 2008 and have found it to be a really excellent & reliable community service. When Jack became ill with Vascular Dementia and we had to give up the car it was a positive life line for us especially as we had a caravan in Suffolk. Jack is now living in Oakdale Residential Care Home and I try to see him every day so I have to rely on the CPCS and the local taxi service for transport.
I really don’t know what I would do if it weren’t for this scheme, I know I don’t use it as much as I could my arthritis is getting worse so I can see I will need your help evermore. Thank you to all the car drivers I haven’t found any that wasn’t helpful and very pleasant. Thank you all
I have found the Car service a real help the six years I have been a member everyone is so helpful and caring and it is a important part of my life now that I am not so active as I was. I sincerely hope that you will be able to continue your very good work with many years to come.
I am writing on behalf of my mother, Betty Almklev who has recently passed away without this car scheme my mother would not have been able to attend all the various appointments she had, she had nothing but praise for all the office staff and drivers who she always found polite and helpful. From my point of view I would like to thank you all for the work you do and what you done for my mother. Thank you.
As I have no relatives local this takes a lot of worry from me, knowing I will be able to keep medical appointments on time. It is a very welcome service indeed

I would miss the Social Car Scheme as it is my only means of being mobile other than family help. The people who man the phones and the drivers are extremely helpful at all times. Thank you
I joined the car scheme when my husband became ill, we could not have done without it, for his treatment to clinics & hospitals that is why I carried on using it for my own trips to clinics & hospitals, I really could not manage without it at my age I really need it.
This on going scheme alleviates the worry and stress of arriving at hospital appointments on time & the return journey. Both clerical staff and drivers have given a excellent service at all times absolutely first class.
This car scheme is brilliant and have recommended it to many people . I would hate to have to do without it especially as time marches on so I am not getting any younger.
