Your service takes a lot of stress of me I don’t know what I do withour, knowing it is there as we get older I will need it more thank you all for a wonderful service.
I have found the Car service a real help the six years I have been a member everyone is so helpful and caring and it is a important part of my life now that I am not so active as I was. I sincerely hope that you will be able to continue your very good work with many years to come.
I really don’t know what I would do if it weren’t for this scheme, I know I don’t use it as much as I could my arthritis is getting worse so I can see I will need your help evermore. Thank you to all the car drivers I haven’t found any that wasn’t helpful and very pleasant. Thank you all
This on going scheme alleviates the worry and stress of arriving at hospital appointments on time & the return journey. Both clerical staff and drivers have given a excellent service at all times absolutely first class.
The community cant do with out this service it is a comfort to know someone is picking us up. They are really kind & understanding If it wasn’t for this service a lot of people would not get out.
During the time I have used the scheme having worked in managing postions in transport in the past I was pleasantly surprised to be met with such plesant staff both efficient & courteous & found such consuation in the wonderful scheme & please accept my thanks.
In short without the car scheme, myself, & many elderly or disabled folk would be housebound. We are all appreciative of the help we get from staff & drivers too – at 93 yrs to me its really needed.
As an OAP I’m lucky to have family for most of my trips out but still feel safe knowing I can call your scheme if I’m stuck for transport myself, also I run a MS Club on Canvey and your service is second to none in my opinion please keep up the good work.
I have come to rely on the scheme to take me to appointments it removes all anxiety of how to keep these appointments on time.
My husband and I joined the CPSCS soon after it started in 2008 and have found it to be a really excellent & reliable community service. When Jack became ill with Vascular Dementia and we had to give up the car it was a positive life line for us especially as we had a caravan in Suffolk. Jack is now living in Oakdale Residential Care Home and I try to see him every day so I have to rely on the CPCS and the local taxi service for transport.
